The Makita DHP484 combi drill Features
The Makita DHP484 combi drill is a fantastic all-rounder that is well balanced and lightweight yet extremely powerful for its compact size. It has a brushless motor which transmits exceptional power while being ultra-efficient meaning that your batteries will last 30% longer when compared to a brushed motor and produces and requires zero maintenance.
The DHP484 is a 3-mode machine with hammer mode for masonry drilling, rotary for steel, wood and plastics and torque mode has 21 settings that allow the clutch to slip for precision screw-driving.
The all-metal 2-speed gearbox has a high speed of 0-2,000rpm and a low speed of 0-500rpm where it delivers an impressive maximum torque of 54Nm.
Other features include an easy-grip 13mm keyless chuck, LED job light and a comfortable rubberised handle that ensures a firm grip and lowers vibration. It’s an excellent professional unit aimed squarely at the tradesman and with a compact length of just 182mm would be ideal for kitchen fitters, plumbers and electricians.
