The Makita BO4555 is 1/4 sheet sander, hook and Loop palm sander plus clamp has a new design of easy-grip body shape which makes this sander a pleasure to use.
The new slim line body makes for a smaller, more comfortable handgrip. Greatly appreciated by professional decorators as it will be much more comfortable in extended use. This is ideal for a variety of sanding tasks whether at home or on site.
High performance palm sander for fine finishing work at 14000 RPM (orbits per minute) with 1.5mm orbit diameter. It fits neatly into the hand with a conveniently positioned switch and a very comfortable grip, it is perfect for finish sanding a whole range of materials.
Abrasive can be attached with hook and loop fixings or it has spring steel clips which can firmly secure the abrasive paper. The through-base extraction uses the punch plate supplied to perforate individual abrasive sheets. The waste is drawn via an integral fan and deposited into a detachable waste bag. If preferred, the waste bag can be removed and replaced by an extractor hose for improved dust extraction.
