- The door should be in the closed position
- Measure and cut the short piece to fit across the top of the door frame. Use a fine tooth hacksaw, cut at an angle to give a 45 degree mitre. Place against the door and nail into position.
- Measure from the fitted top strip to the door bottom, and cut the side pieces to the length required. Use a fine tooth hacksaw, cut at an angle to give a 45 degree mitre.
- Place the side sections against the door and nail into position.
- IMPORTANT If screw fixing is provided, "Posi" slotted type screws are supplied for safe and easy installation, use a No. 1 screwdriver. On hardwood frames first make a pilot hole with a bradawl or small drill, in the centre of the slots.
